[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Glock serial # problem

Mine has a "US" at the end and the first three letters are BXV..... I am confused by the link over to GlockTalk. According to it. I have a G17...However, what I have sitting in front of me has a G22 slide and barrel on it. I'm a little miffed at this point seeing as how I just traded a rifle for this gun. Should I just calm down...do I have anything to worry about here?

Does your slide/barrel s/n match the Frame S/N?

If so, it would have come from the factory that way. If not, then someone probable played mix and match at some time.

Uh, derrrr. I'm an idiot. haha. This is my first Glock. Yeah, the barrel,slide, and frame all match...well, with the exception of the barrel and slide not having the "US" on it and the frame does......does that matter?
