I purchased a really nice used USA made Glock 19 gen 4 awhile back. The owner did a little dremmel and polish job on the internals. I loved the trigger when I was dry firing it. I've put about 300 rounds through it with no problems... Then it happened. The trigger will get stuck in the rearward after taking a shot every 20-30 rounds fired. I can't physically pull it forward. I have to manually work the slide for it to reset. Do I need to replace the whole trigger group? I can't pinpoint the problem. Any help is appreciated.

Gut the frame and replace everything back to factory. Start fresh and mod from there yourself or have a pro do it ideally

Pull it all apart and take pics. I'd like to see what made the gun malfunction, just for my own information.

Just like never shooting another man's reloads, I will never own a gun with some guy's kitchen table "trigger job".

He rounded the top part of the crucifix, which is a no-no.

Replace trigger bar (with trigger). About $15. Can replace striker also to be sure, but new trigger bar is a must.

Polishing is fine, but don't go near the rear of the "bent" ear of the trigger bar.
