I am currently looking for HD night sights for my glock 34. I found some large frame HD night sights in stock and was told my a rep at a store here locally that he prefers them on his 17. I am just wondering if this will work and if i will run into any problems using the Large frame sights on a smaller frame. Thanks

Large frame may overhang the sides.  What sights are you looking for specifically?

Trijicon

Just order them..... Midway, Brownells, and Optics Planet all have them in-stock.

IIRC it's like $65 if you ship your slide (stripped) to glock to get Glock NS installed....and they might possibly put all new parts into your slide for you....

Not quite trijicon's but a hard price to beat that's for sure.

I'll second shipping your stripped slide to Glock and let them put sights on it. Last I knew it was under $60 plus shipping.

Yes, you will run into issues. They won't overhang, but the difference is in the sight height to account for the different trajectory of .45 or something like that.

I have HDs on my G34 and love them. Get the G17, 22, 34, etc model of HDs.

These guys have them in stock right now -

I've bought from them before - they're GTG.

You would not get the same sights for 45 acp as you would for the 9mm and 40. They have always been different.

Thanks for all of the input. I was asking because a company I was at said that they would be fine but I figured I would double check. I will go with the Night sights that are actually supposed to go on the gun.

I bought a set of Glock Night Sights and when trying to install them, the front screw was too close to the front of the slide for my nut driver to tighten the screw.  I have installed several sets of Trijicon sights without any problems with the same nut driver.
