I need to tune my G21 trigger to match my G34.  Both Gen 3's.

I have been shooting my G34 for years in the same configuration and it fits me like a glove.  I have a factory 3.5 connector, Wolffe 4.0# striker spring, Wolffe reduced power safety plunger, factory trigger return spring, and a rubber wrap overmold grip.  That's it, but after buffing, constant trigger grease, and 8-10,000 rounds the pull measures a mushy 3.25 #.  I love it and can run fast with it.  None of you would call it crisp, but I don't care.  Many of you would hate it.

My G21 is either factory or has an extra power trigger return spring.  I would have to dig through logs to find out which.  Its a factory "crisp/sproooooiiiiiiiing" that you are all familiar with.

I ran both Open and Heavy Metal in 3 gun for the first time.  In heavy metal, neither the pump 12 or 308 were a big hindrance, but I shot my G21 HORRIBLE.  I have practiced with it before , but never shot it under the clock   .After the second stage with the G21, I started jerking the trigger on my G34. UGH...  So what should I do to make the 21 lke the 34?

I have read that 4# striker springs don't work in 45's.  All my 9mm's have been fine with them.  I have a 4lb zev I could try.

Which connector?  I mostly need the pull down lower. I can deal with extra travel and I don't need crisp as long as the reset is easy to feel.

Why do you not run the heavy reset spring in your G34 it would take the mushy clunk feeling out of the trigger and also gives a more positive reset.

You can run a similar setup in your G21 it will only be similar to the G34 but t will be almost impossible to make the the same.

In my Glocks I run this setup
"-" connector
Heavy reset spring
Lighter safety plunger spring
Yields about 4# but it is crisp, no mushy, and only a slight bit of over travel.  I do not change the striker spring as I do not like the feel of the Glock trigger when I change it to a lower weight.  My 21SF I run the same setup much it comes in more around 4.25~# because of the larger striker, plunger, and longer trigger bar but it is still much better than stock.

Because the trigger would not reset the safety blade in the trigger.  I just barely bent the part of the trigger bar where the spring hooks out a hair to add a little more pull to the factory spring.  Wolffe extra power reset/trigger spring would not reset the trigger safety.

What you describe does sound like my 21.  I bet I already have an extra power trigger spring in it.

GLOCK does not sell minus connectors to the public but you can find them on eBay or parts retailers.
