Hey everyone, was thinking of getting a Gen 4 Glock 26 but was wondering if it has the same problems that the Gen 4 glock 19 has with the recoil spring?  Thanks!

No difference between the Gen 3 and 4 other than the backstraps and gen4 markings..the Sub compacts had the dual recoil spring from the getgo.

And that means it is the only Gen4 not plagued with the common Gen4 problems.

I have a Gen 4 26 with which I have had no problems, but as stated above, the Gen 4 26 uses the same recoil spring assembly as the Gen 3 26.

Awesome. Baby Glock is good-to-go in Gen 4.

Mine is a pain to take apart. The recoil spring gets stuck in the frame instead of going into the notch in the barrel for take down.

200+ rounds through my Gen4 G26 with no problems.  I know not quite enough trigger time yet, but getting there.

Several hundreds round through my Gen4 27 (same as 26 but 40 cal) including HST 180 JHP, and zero problems.  Positive ejection to the 3:00 position.

700 rounds through my daily carry g26. Not a lot, but it feeds and shoots anything marked 9x19mm.
