Am I the only one who would love the prospect of a longslide G21? I'm thinking something along the lines of the G34/G35 with ~1" longer barrel/slide than the regular pistol. |
Yeah, his business is really in the shitter for that........ ![]() Now, lets play Cowboys and |
How could you possibly know what Glock gives a shit about? Do you have any idea how many Glocks are in use right now? I'd bet that anybody with any marketing sense at all would realize what a small percentage of prospective buyers would be interested in a longslide G21 or G20. |
Glock and marketing sense? Is that like updating your website to show new products every 3-5 years
|
I would wager that the market for a 21/20 long slide "practical/tactical" would be similar to the percentage of G17/22 fans who buy the G34/35 guns. I'm also pretty sure Glock that sold every G17L and G24 they ever made. |
The 10mm models always come out first |
It is a .45ACP slide that has a .45acp to 10mm conversion barrel allowing 10mm to be fired. LoneWolf is currently planning on releasing a SS Long Slide for the Glock 21 sometime after the first of the year. |

To clarify my previous post: I love Glocks, I have many. However Glock hasn't brought anything new to market in quite sometime, well except for the 45gap, which nobody really wanted nor asked for. People for years have asked Glock to build his interpretation of a pistol caliber carbine, well we all know how that went. ![]() Finally, I am just quessing here, with the popularity of the 24,17L, 34 and 35, it would just make sense to apply the same logic and bring a longside G21/20 to market. Fortunetly we consumers have companies like LoneWolf Dist. that can see that there is a market for this and is willing to give us what we want. |
Glock doesn't waste valuable resources placating the pubescents amongst us! |
No, he doesn't. That's why he makes a consistent line of pistols of every major caliber available in 3 different sizes, to acommodate as many users as possible, in addition to practical / tactical models of their more widely used caliber, tritium night sights, ah... why am I even bothering going on. You're right. Gaston sucks.
|
Gaston just doesn't see a commercially practical market for the longer slide versions of the 45 and 10mm. He's probably right too. While I really like mine, it is just a range toy and not a fighting weapon. My G23 is kept stock + TFOs for CCW. |
