I know that the Tactical series has aluminum frames... I like the feel of them a lot!

But I am also intrested in the TLE RL II, what is the frame made out of?

What is the Warrior's frame made of?

Thanks,

For a while recently Kimber was making all of their steel guns with Stainless frames that had been blackened.  I dont know if thats still the case, and Im pretty sure the Warrior has a carbon-steel frame.

I've been wondering the same.  Anyone know for sure?  Alex Hamilton wrote about this in American Handgunner.  I have yet to see this, though I don't work on that many Kimbers.

I know that they make most of their pistols using steel or stainless steel.   I think the warrior is steel (frame, slide, and stainless barrel).  It has the new kimpro finish that self lubricates.  Its a nice gun I got to shoot it and it shot nice; great gun.

Okay, so you know - the warrior has Kimber's standard steel frame. I didn't know myself so I contacted the folks at Kimber. They were gracious enough to respond.
