I got a LEO trade in Glock 22 recently from summitgunbroker.com. I was curious on how much it would cost to send it to Glock for a gen2 to gen3 frame? Also, it came with factory night sights, do they replace them for free?

I tried calling, but they are closed today. I figured someone on arfcom should have experience with this?

Well I guess you'll have to call them tomorrow.

I've read they charge around 150 to replace the frame. Not sure about the sights issue. But you'll know tomorrow.

I ahve read they charge about 150 for the frame and it has to go back to a FFL transfer it. On the NS,if your 22 is the same batch from summit as mine, they are way out of warranty. You can send it to Glock and have them replaced at 50 something dollars or buy your own and DIY.

The OEM glock ones are crimped in place. Mep and Trig's use a front screw. I like the screw as I can change sites any time I want.

I bought a new 3rd gen. frame with all the internals intalled for $240 from Glockmeister.com and had it sent to my local FFL. I think they sell new stripped frames for $180.

I thought I read somewhere on the Glock web site that they don't sell frames as a part. Isn't it a new gun?
