So after much thought and research, I went with a G19 (I know, most would say its a no brainer and I wasted time thinking about it). Bunch of guys in the store were pretty stoked to see me picking the G19 over the XD I was comparing it to. Looking forward to a range trip later this week.
Need some help with a holster - both IWB and OWB (and probably a belt). I am 5-7 and 150lbs (not sure if this limits me on holster selections). Input welcome as I am a newbee to pistols. Thanks |

I'm your height and about 165 so IWB carry should be no problem for you. Get a good belt with either very thick leather or some Kydex reinforcement. I haven't used the Cross Breed but I've heard good things. What I don't like about the Cross Breed is that the belt clips (stock) have crosses cut out in them that IMO could be a giveaway that you have a holster on. |

There have been NDs with these during the draw because of where your index finger ends up when actuating the release mechanism. i guess i can see how someone could f*ck up with the draw and shoot themselves. i press the release button with my finger straight. pressing it with the tip of your finger is a NO-NO! |

Sweet! I just got my first this past week as well. Went and shot it today, super amped about it.
I have an M-TAC for my PX4, I think I'm going to get another kydex half body for the G17 and carry it in that. I really like the M-TAC for my Beretta, I'm sure it'll be just as comfy with the Glock.
