Took my brand new CM40 the the range today. It would not fully go into battery with PMC bronze 165 gr fmj ammo. It happened every time whether I pulled the slide back and let it go, used the slide release or fired the gun. It fired, extracted and ejected without issue.

It functioned better with the 32 rnds of mixed Winchester and Federal  hp I tried it with. It failed to go into battery only two or three times with that. A light smack on the rear of the slide would put it into full battery.

It's still in its break in period so I'm not putting to much weight on the issues, but I'm wondering if Kahr pistols tend to be finicky with certain brands of ammo?

Thanks Joe

The only ammo my CM40 does not like is some Fiocchi BEWB or whatever they call it. The shape just does not work, as in yours. Polish the feed ramp, it can not do anyting but help. They do break in.
