I had both never tried it. I still have STI mags w/ the para magazine catch cut for 45 acp, but my stis are 40 and 9mm
I'll say they this much if they did work USPSA shooters would be using them as Paras are lower cost and gen hold more with less tweaking. I have never seen a single shooter using para mags in his/her sti. |

The mag catch slot is located differently, and while STI/STI mags will go in a Para, paras will not seat in an STI/SVI. The mag body taper is more "blunt".
