or is any improvement just a placebo effect?

I could in theory see how some extra weight in the front half the gun could reduce muzzle flip. but they dont add very much weight. less than a surefire on the rail adds.

Well I tried a steel RSA in my G23. It is a slight improvement, but my 170Gn 1270 FPS 40SW ammo is still pretty crazy with the muzzle flip.

I think ill just sell the G23 for another 9mm or 45.  The Glock 35 is a pussy cat. The Gen4 Glock 22 is great. The M&P40 and Gen3 G22 are fine.  The Glock 23 just sucks for me. Between the small grip and sharp recoil impulse I just have too much muzzle flip.

I gotta get off my ass and sell the G23, G26 and LCP and buy the G42 & 41.

I'd be very surprised if anyone could tell a difference in a blind test.

Im using this one.

Product description claims its a factory weight spring. But if anything it feels like a lower weight spring than stock. Yet there is less muzzle flip than when using a new OEM RSA.  I cant explain it.
