My custom slide plate came in so I decided to take some pictures of my G30.

Close up a bit blurry, sorry.

Ainokea.  Pardon my ignorance, but what does it mean?

We have a problem that QUIB pointed out to me this morning.

It seems that the last upgrade resulted in an error when uploading pictures from sites like Photobucket. Photobucket provides "[ IMG] & [ /IMG]" coding when coping their pictures and that has worked on ARFCOM for years. With the most recent ARFCOM update, one now must manually change the "[ IMG] & [ /IMG]" to a "[ img] & [ /img]" to get the links to go hot.

** Note, do not include the space between the '[' and the 'i' or '[' and the '/' as I did above.  I did that so that that the posts would show the command rather than a hot link.

I have posted this in the General Section under Site Suggestions as an issue that needs to be resolved.

Here are the pictures listed correctly:

And............. is 'Ainokea' meant to stand for "I don't Care" in Hawaiian?

Thanks COSteve for your help. And yes 'Ainokea' pronounced "I-no-kay-ah" stands for "I don't care" but not in actual Hawaiian but in Pidgin which is our short tongue way of speaking in Hawaii.

Agreed. It's neat, but...

Actually there's no distraction at all when aquiring a sight picture........ maybe because my other pistols have Stainless slides?... I don't know but I don't notice it while shooting.

I don't wanna jack your thread, but does anyone know of a company that makes a STEEL cover plate?  Besides aluminum....

Have you tried Lonewolf to see if one could be made?

I have one of those, got it from rockyourglock.  Its the Marines slide cover.  Really looks good on it too.  I like the style of text on it, that looks really good.

While lika1's custom slide cover plate is great, I'm partial to LW's one I got for my G20/21L project.

How much love did it take to get the grip sleave to fit the larger frame?

I like that gun.

All you need is a bit of hairspray and a hairdryer.  You heat up the HandAll™ and then spray the hairspray on your grip. Slide the Hogue on your grip and you're set.

Nothing wrong with that.....
