Just found this. Saw packing.org was down, so i went to handgunlaw.us. I was taking their maps, and combining them so i have one map that lists everywhere i can carry. Well, they have a link where you select what states you have permits for, and it will make one map for you. flipping sweet. Check it out |

Thats really sweet! Ive got a TX, AZ and SD CCW... The only problem that Ive run into was the police have told me, that my CCW is only as good as my DL... So, Before I had my TX CCW, My AZ one was good only if I was holding a AZ DL, as if I was on vacation. I got my TX due to cops telling me that my AZ and SD arent any good with a TX DL...Make sense? |
Bottom line, it all boils down to state laws. Some states only accept resident permits, others will accept non-resident permits. Some states only accept their permit if you are a resident of their state. FWIW: North Dakota, Florida, and Utah permit holder. |
I had FL and ND for the longest time. Just recently got the UT permit, because it opens up MN. FL and UT are pretty close. UT requires a class, but FL will accept a photo copy of hunter's safety. |

Thanks for the map! That is a great tool. Utah has an online course available. getaccw.com/main.asp |
"The online course is no longer available. Must sign up in person at the gunshow." |
Someone should tack this link in the Carry Section. Good Find! |
