I am looking at a Commander that's blued with a serial # FL08xxx
Been trying to figure out the approximate age and value. Sorry I have no pic's. New Blue Book didn't help much.

I'm not sure when colt used an FL prefix-I've only ever seen CLW as a prefix on commanders (if not just a numeric beginning)
Here is the number to colt though if you want to try calling 1-800-962-COLT(2658) maybe yours was part of a limited run. Its not on proofhouse.com |

Its not on proofhouse.com I think CLW is Commander-Light-Weight, so that would only apply to the alloy frames. |
