Hey everyone! Well I had bought a Browning BDM a while ago, and finally got around to shooting it the other day. Needless to say, I'm in love. So everyone and their mom who has one of these is willing to do just about anything to get good hi-caps that don't require you to sell an organ to buy a few of them. Most hi-caps for this pistol I've seen can cost you anywhere from $75 to $125. Well gentleman (and ladies), I've found them in stock at a distributer for $49.50 a pop. Still not cheap, but better than anything I've seen so far! Here is the company contact information:

FORREST, CO.

I've never had any luck with Forest in them actually delivering what they advertised in SGN.  Others have had the same experience.

In my case I ordered some .30 Carbine mags, and nothing showed.  I called him back and he said "out of stock..." same old line we've all heard from so many people.  About 6 months later he tried to charge my CC for the mags (I guess he finally found some), and called me back wondering why it wouldn't go through.  This had taken so long that my CC had EXPIRED before he could process the order!

Oddly enough the ad he was running then appears the same as the one he's running now (except for the prices).  Certainly for the 6 moths or so he never delivered, his SGN ads kept being printed with those .30 Carbine mags for sale.

I chalked it up to just them being out of what I was looking for, but later on the internet found others to have similar experiences.

I'd call him and find out if he has them in stock.  If he has them, great.  I know I don't even waste my time with that company.  I'd rather pay $75 to a guy who can tell me he really has it in hand.

Well whataya know, June and no response yet. Guess it's time to hit the phone. If anyone has actually contacted this company about the mags and knows whether they're in stock or not, we'd all like to know. Till then, I'm gonna start dialing.

Be very, very careful when dealing with Forrest...most of the stuff they actually deliver is crap.

Hmm, that's funny, they don't have any in stock......but they're taking orders for them, WTF?Well, when they start making them again, then I'll trust that I know he has some coming in. I fail to grasp the logic in this company.

Alas, the quest continues.....

FNMI_Rifleman, I bought a couple of high capacity magazines from CDNN in 1998 for about $90 each. I am here to tell you if I had it to do over again I would have bough 10 10 rounders instead. Regards, Richard
