Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 226, 228, or 239?

I'm interested in another SIG and thought I'd get something in 9mm, would like to get opinions on these from owners.  I have a 220, 245, and a 232.

Looking at the web site it seems like the only real difference in the 226 and 228 is about half an inch in barrel/slide length.  Is this right?  

The 239 seems like the best choice for concealed carry.  Is the thinner single stack grip the major difference compared to the 228?

The single stack of the 239 and the frame contour of the dust cover are the biggest differences between the 239 / 228 in size.  I carry a 239 near daily and have carried a 229 in the past as a concealed carry.  The 239 is easier to carry in most settings as that the grip frame rides closer in to the body.
The 226 is larger overall, both height and length and will be the most challenging to carry concealed.  It can be done, but you'll need to pick your holsters and your cover garments carefully.
