I have a chance to purchase a NIB Colt Delta Elite (SS) with box, all paperwork, etc, and three SS magazines. The guy is asking $1,000, is this a good deal?

That seems to be the asking price as of late for a NIB.
I got my LNIB blued Delta for $699
If you really want it and they are uncommon in your area, make an offer.

Bought and unfired SS Delta Elite at a local Shop about a year ago and paid $795.00 and its worth every penny. Basically the guns worth what your willing to pay for it.
