Hello, I recently traded my USP 40 for a NIB Springfield Armory widebody .45.
this is the first 1911 style pistol I have owned. When I finally gout out to shoot it, I found it shot WAY left. (like 8 " at ~15 Yards.) Obviously I was shocked. I did not have the proper tools to drift the rear sight, but I was wondering, Don't they check this?

Both my P-220s were VERY close to point of aim right out of the box.
