I’ve been using this 6390RDS-4502, but I don’t recommend it. The rear corners of the Romeo-M17 are very sharp and get caught on the underside of the hinged plastic optic cover on the holster when you draw the pistol. The pistol gets hung up by the optic cover, and you can’t draw smoothly. I don’t like having to manually flip the cover out of the way before drawing the pistol. I’m planning to buy this one instead, but it’s really expensive, and I don’t want to spend the money right now: Safariland 6354RDSO ALS Level I Duty Holster w/QLS Fork - Cordura / MultiCam - 6354RDSO-4502-701-MS19 for the M17 or 6354RDSO-7502-701-MS19 for the M18 I think that one will work much better without the hinged cover. The wrap-around cover for the optic should protect it just fine. If you’re training / working in the rain, you’ll end up with water on the rear lens, but that’ll happen with my current holster anyway. Not a big deal to me. |

Paired with the nubstop nub to extend the als lever. Works great I have a Surefire vampire, best part is it clears the gas pedal on my sig. 7378RDS-4502-551 mine is a comped m18x though. Yeah, I have a couple non rds 7000 series safariland p320 holsters, both fs and compact and they work great. The M18 fits nice in the M17 holsters, there's just space in the bottom of the holster because the slide is shorter obviously. I don't use my compact M18 7000 series holster anymore after picking up a fs holster. Its nice not having to switch holsters when switching guns and just using one holster for both the M17 and M18 and the gas pedal fits and clears fine which is nice. I ordered the tan 7390RDS-4502-551. Couldnt find one in stock anywhere, 6-8 week estimated delivery  I'm impatient and canceled the 7390rds-4502-551 and ordered the in stock 7378RDS-4502-551. I'm not using the paddle or belt attachments so no biggie. Look forward to trying it out. |
