Ordered a Glock 20.5 via cert so the wait begins on how long Glock takes to ship.

Never had 10mm before but I know there are light (aka long 40) loads, medium and OMG hot hunting ammo.

I'd like to stock up on medium loads for just blasting and plinking.
I visited Buds in my area but they don't honor online prices instore.

So what I'm looking for is cheap-ish non-reman 10mm around medium power levels.
AACs offering is looking pretty good price/performance wise

AAC, Sig, LAX, Magtech. For 40sw velocities I just shoot 40sw through mine.

If you are hurting for space consider a Lee Breech Lock hand press. Reloading for 10mm is easy and it pays for itself in nothing flat.

You could build a complete loading set that would fit in a medium sized tupperware style bin.  You can use the press later for processing brass/decapping while sitting in front of the tube or if you wanted to load at hunting camp.

10mm is a reloaders caliber!

Buying factory ammo...

Defensive against critters of the 2 or 4 legged type...
Underwood or Buffalo Bore

As I recall, but old, senile, TBI, etc etc, I think the Sig 10mm stuff was one of the best for plinking ammo, a higher velocity than most.  Or shoot 40 S&W for light loads.

I have heard that the Sig FMJ is hotter than most but will also add that it is significantly more expensive and feels no different than many other loads.

The chronograph may tell a different story but the less expensive rounds that feel more powerful to me subjectively are Blazer brass and Magtech.

I suggest staying away from Armscore as those are noticeably weaker.

For what it’s worth locally I find:
Sig $50 a box.
Blazer $25 a box.
Magtech $25 a box.

An honorable mention for S&B as well.
They feel ok on power and run about $30 a box or less.

From any of those rounds if you then jump to some BB or Underwood, you will immediately hear the difference and feel it as well.

All and all, 10MM really doesn’t have much recoil even with the hotter loads.

Decided to go the reloading route with some factory ammo mainly for brass.
Have Dillon conversion kit and dies enroute a long with some bullets (have powder).

I pinged Glock to get general time line and I guess the default answer is 4-6 months.
So I might have a long wait ahead

What made you get it directly from glock instead of going to a blue label dealer?

I don't think free certs can be done at blue label dealers
If so I made a mistake

I've shot a bunch of armscor 10mm out of mine and that stuff shot pretty well.

Only real difference I notice in the range stuff vs the hot bear loads is the bear stuff is a big cloud of smoke shooting those both grizzly and Buffalo bore
