Just received my G-43 slide from Battle Werx today. Mailed to them on August 8th, so just shy of one month turnaround including shipping.

Milled for a Holosun 407k and refinished in their DLC. Beautiful machining and finish. The optic fits perfectly snug, with the tiniest, barely perceptible bit of front-to-back play. Like, maybe a human hair would fill the gap.

The correct screws were in the slide and a spare set was included as well. I know they are only $2.50 a pair, but it was a nice touch. Right around $150 for the work and I couldn't be more happy with it.

Cool. I shipped my G17 slide on August 9th or 10th and got it back yesterday. The DLC coating is sweet. I have an Sig P229 I’d like to have coated with that.

Pics, boys.. Pics!

I'm interested in seeing the DLC finish from BW compared to what I've got from Glock (new G19.5 MOS & G48 MOS) both have a nice nDLC factory finish. No chalky-boy on either of mine (seems to be hit-or-miss on the new guns.)

Congrats to you both.

they are my go to.  not coated, i had it back in 7 days.  coated (DLC) took a month.

Maple Leaf took over two months on two separate slide transactions (both had optic cut and DLC).  never again

Good pics. The slide with DLC vs. my brand new USA made G43 slide is nearly identical in appearance and shade. If you showed it to 50 people, 49 would say it is a factory Glock finish.

I guess he is still doing the screw bosses.  That will preclude the RCR.  I had emailed him about the feasibility of milling off the bosses for the RCR.  I don't know how much thread engagement that would leave though.  I'm a little bummed.

Just got my 17 back, flawless just like the 19 they did previously.  About 4 weeks IIRC.

Not a pic of the whole gun, but it shows (to me) how nice the DLC finish is.

They all look great. If I need to get any work done, I'll certainly give BW my business.
