Sometimes a Great Notion AKA Never Gve an Inch. From a Ken Kesey novel (he wrote Cuckoo's Nest). Paul swaggers his way through a logging empire epic with his father (played by Hank Fonda) and his old lady played by Lee Remick. His brother played by Richard Jaeckel dies in one of the most realistic and horrifying death scenes ever put on celluloid. Michael Sarazin plays his punk ass 1/2 brother who rogers Newman's wife outta spite.
I learned a new way to throw a bowline in a hawser when I saw it as a Life Scout circa 1973. He's big time non-union and totally self-centered, which should make about 87% of Arfcom jizz in there drawers. The book is a tough read but worth the time. Hank Stamper <Why Hell honey, we get up an' chop wood so's we can eat and screw...What else is there? > Hank Stamper. (Or words to that affect). |

the "boss with no eyes" carries a Winchester Model 70 pre-64 |

Slap Shot is probably the best sports movie of all time, but Cool Hand Luke is...amazing. |

Quoted: I've never seen ANY of those. Get off the internet - right now. Go to Blockbuster and rent one - right now. Watch it and you just might feel your testicles finally descend into your scrotum where they belong. |

Huge fan of Slapshot here, but Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was just a great movie. That's my pick.

He did a detective flick called Twilight in which Reese Witherspoon and Susan Surandon are both topless in the first five minutes. Its worth a watch.

Fast Eddie: No bar?
Cashier: No bar, no pinball machines, no bowling alleys, just pool... nothing else. This is Ames, mister. ... The Hustler. Yeah, I've spent too much time in pool rooms. ha Absence of Malice , I consider an important movie, showing media disregard for anything other than sales or agenda. Truth be damned and let the chips fall where they may. "Go ahead and try to prove malice,if you can." |

Quoted: I've never seen ANY of those. Definitely rent Cool Hand Luke if you get a chance. |
