As I approach the 1,000 post mark, I have to wonder "What's Next??"

At 25, you become a member.

At 250, you become a senior member.

What honor should be bestowed upon those that cross the 1,000 post mark???

Perhaps the "get a life" award???

Or hows abouts the "Grand Pubaah of Posters" award???

It just seems like we should all get SOMETHING for that many posts.

Oh well...

A hobby.  You should get a hobby.  At 1,000 posts we should all chip in and get you a jig-saw puzzle with a couple pieces missing.....yeah.

Of course, "Grand Exalted High Post Potentate" has a nice ring to it, too......

wonderful board.You soldify your bond with fellow gun enthusiasts you normaly would never have met.Through the flame wars us veterans  lost are innocence and were forced to grow up,when the old board went down we lost old friends and comrades and had to examine our humanity.

When the new board came online and chaos insued with 200+ posts aday{ever other one being porn} we were forced to take a look at the darkness of mans heart and the lawlessness that insues when there is no order.When the Mod's arrived they were forced to clean up and when it was done we asked"what are we capable of?!?!"

When the trolls came we unified together forming a bond that no anti-gunner could break.

And when the board was down last night I was afraid,yes afraid that I had lost friends and my web home,I was forced to wander the web looking for a site to take me in,and friend,the web is a scary place when you don't have a board to call home.I went to HK91.com,subguns.com and AK.net and I did'nt like any of them,none were as good as AR15.com

But as always the GREAT ED AVILA came through.
