Not a penny. I do it or my wife does. But it's usually about $10 at a barbershop.

$0 -- I'm a balding guy who owns a pair of clippers.

I think I paid $12 the last time I got a haircut, maybe 2.5 yrs ago.

I've been going to the same girl for 2y now. She just opened her own shop about 7mo ago. She charges $40, but since I've been with her for so long she only charges me $30. To help out a small business owner I figure her services are $40 anyhow, so that's what I pay her; + 25% tip = $50.

I bought some Wahl clippers with 6 different attachments in 1994 for around $20.00 at WalMart.

Been using them ever since. So I guess that comes to $1 per year, so far. I usually cut my hair every three weeks or so.

free. wife cuts it.
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:22:43 PM EDT
$0. Buzz it myself and the wife cleans up the back
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:22:49 PM EDT
With tip, $20. She's quick, washes the clippings out of my hair afterward, and it looks like I want it to when she's done. Worth it.
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:23:01 PM EDT
Nothing. I give myself a buzz cut every two weeks.
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:23:16 PM EDT

Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:24:30 PM EDT
I've been using my horse-shears and doing it in the mirror, lately. Keeps things under control till I can get in to have it done right.

$15 and I tip $5 so that's $20.
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:24:32 PM EDT
Nothing.

Haven't had one in at least 10 years.
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:24:49 PM EDT
$20 including tip before the economy took a dump. $0 buzz cut nowadays...
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:25:04 PM EDT
I have two lady friends that cut my hair for free. So I am no help. But last time I paid was about 12 bucks I think.
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:25:25 PM EDT

I go about 4 times a year. sadly at mid 50's ya get more growin out of your ears than your head!

Zero.

I get topless haircuts from MRSRugerlvr every six weeks or so whether I like it or not. Buzzcuts being the order of the day. ;)

Except for the beard, I pay $11 bucks for my haircut and I'm only in the chair for 10-15 minutes...

If I had my choice I would grow a dynasty beard and long hair. However for work I have to be clean cut. So every other week haircut and eyebrows is 35 I tip 10 so 45. That includes wash, scalp massage and re gel
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:30:03 PM EDT
$20, but I'm good looking so it's worth it
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:31:12 PM EDT
Buddy of mine has his own place in the center of town. He charges $18 for a cut and a tight clean on the neck and side burns.

I usually give him $25 for a good haircut and some talk about shooting.

I go to one of the last traditional barbershops in the state.... Senior price: $5.00, Tip usually $2.00, conversation priceless! He's 71 years old, and I told him if he ever dies or quits, I'm growing a beard and shaving my head (like my sons do).

My wife cuts my hair with clippers. She sucks at it, but it's free and I never leave the house without a hat anyway.
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:36:40 PM EDT
I travel a lot, so it's anywhere from $20 to $80.
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:36:41 PM EDT
$14
Link Posted: 3/19/2013 5:37:04 PM EDT
$30 + $3 tip

Japanese hair salon. I was a little apprehensive, since my choices were a middle aged Japanese woman whose hair was thinning, and the dude who was bald.

But it's way better than supercuts...
