She wants a pool and rarely drives the beetle and doesn't take it to shows, told her "want a pool? sell the beetle"

I really don't want to resort to ebay, I hate deadbeat bidders for cars on ebay, what a pita.
I have it on thesamba.com, craigslist, vwvortex and a few others, so far only tards asking to trade for harleys or VW golfs, lol. I want cash.

how the hell can I get rid of this thing, its mint and runs and drives like its an 09.

any vintage car selling tips?

oh, here is the car:

A car can be "custom", or "restored"....

...but NOT both.

Find your local VW club. Do shows with a for sale sign.

I don't really like beetles, but I want that one. And the floor mats made me chuckle.

yeah the floor mats are hideous and take away from the whole look of the car, but since its for sale she doesnt want to spend 50-100 for some new plain black ones.
I guess I should take them out for photos, they suck and she agrees.

Take total money invested in said vintage car, multiply by 0.5, that's your selling price, ok, maybe your starting price.

It works for boats also but you have to multiply total money invested by 0.3 for them.

Going to have to find the right buyer.

VW clubs, Gay bars, etc.

The car market sucks right now.  Horribly.
Especially for toys.

Nobody NEEDS a classic.  Especially when they cant afford filling the tanks of their daily drivers, food on the table, or mortgage payments.

It's a buyers market.  I've seen $60k cars being sold for $25k, or less.

Good luck to you, you'll have to find the market for that car.

First problem, it is a 71. people buying classic beetles want 1957's not 1971's and second it is over priced by $900-1,900 IMO. even for Cali. if it was just restored, no "customization", it would be worth a little more.
