I would rather have the Weatherby, just because those Ruger actions ain't got much metal in the rails.

Take lots of cash.  Around here, you'd have a hell of a time getting rid of a .338 caliber magnum rifle, and I can't imagine it's any better in Virginia unless you luck into a bear hunter that thinks it's what he needs.  I expect those are pretty scarce, too.
