If the AWB were to expire, should Auto Ordance begin to manufactuer it's 100-round drum magazines?

Have you ever handled a '28 with a 100 round drum? A 1918 BAR is lighter.. The 50's yes, they should make again. Not the 100's.. Meplat-

The drum mags suck ass. GI's in WW2 liked the stick mags better since drum mags were prone to jams and breakage. Av.

Yes, a very good reason. Mostly due to the fact that the M1 Thompson would not accept a drum magazine. Only the M21 and M28 would. A few Brits who got Tommies early in the war often used the 50 round drums. This was before the military version (M1) was available.
