Let's see what y'all think are goods ones, need it for a 2008 escape. I live in Georgia, so no snow just rain. Mostly city driving

The MS2's are good but if you don't want to pay for them the Firestone Destination LE2 is a great tire!

Ditto the Michelins, but the Cooper Zeons and ATS's are good too.  Aggressive all-seasons, without going to a full "All-terrain" design like the Toyo AT, BFG AT, Firestone Dest. AT, etc.

I just got some Goodyear Duratracs for my Cherokee. Stock size, all four for 800 mounted and balanced from my local shop. I honestly cant say enough awesome thinsg about these tires, they are quieter than the street tires that were on it before, smoother than any all terrain i have had, and are amazing in the mud/loose gravel/water on road. I cant wait to see how they do when the snow hits

Hell no, it's a escape not a jeep.

All these suggestions sounds like AT.  I want good quiet LRR tires, occasional gravel dive ways.

Last time I bought "car" tires for my WJ, I regretted it.

I have Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10's on it now.  Was going to go for General Grabber AT2's, but there was about a $40 price difference per tire.  After a $75 rebate from DTD, these 255/65R17's were $115.25 ea.

Cooper makes some that are good for the money.

We put a set of Goodyear Assurance ComforTred Touring on my wife's XC90. Those cars are notorious for chewing through tires but these seem to be holding up well. We're pretty happy with them, especially since they  come with an 80,000 mile warranty.

I had Firestone Destination A/T's on my Cherokee which I really liked. For the Escape in Georgia I would think the Destination LE would be a good tire.
