In the 4th grade my teacher handed out an assignment that listed about a dozen different things to do in order to complete the assignment. Little things like “get up and touch the chalkboard.” The very last instruction read “do none of the above.” About 75% of the class fell for it. I was just curious to see if the results were more related to age or if it was simply human nature. Granted it’s not the same thing, but it’s about as close as I’m going to get without putting any effort into it. Nevertheless, I got my answer. Human nature it is. 250 votes is enough to satisfy my curiosity. Thanks for those who participated.
