Hangovers from the latest OPEC meeting celebrating their continual ass-pounding of consumers.

ETA: I believe the semi-legitimate reason is concerns over Iran.

Since they got away with F**KING US OVER with 3 something bucks a gallon they are going to try for 4 bucks.

My guess is that as long as we the people don't lynch any oil execs, the prices will keep going up.

Until and unless we hit the end of the elastic demand for gas they are going to creap the price up.  When you start saying; "It'll cost too much in gas to go there", and people start buying less then the advance may halt for a bit.

Part of it is just seasonal hikes.  It goes up every year during the family travel season.  Also, speculation over possible oil disruptions resulting from Iran's nuclear weapons program and what the rest of the industrial world is going to do about it, if anything.

Easter weekend coming up. Gotta gank the travellers.

Oooh, you mean the lie from the oil companies.  Nevermind.  They'll probably claim "terror fears".

I bought a motorcycle mainly for saving gas.  Turned out the guy I bought it from had it rejetted for more power, and it only gets 35 mpg instead of the 50-60 it's supposed to get.

Now I have to tear the carbs apart to rejet it back to stock.

I've considered a moto also.  In the next 6-12 months my company is moving 15 miles farther out.

Cool keep going up then.

It'll be there demise.

Screw it, we all know the market and money  is the only thing thats going to modivate anything to go to other mass produced fuel sources or engine designs.

Lets just get this over with already.

What say you?

Would still be better than my 15mpg(city) pickup truck.
But I'm not getting rid of my truck.
