0845 eastern time and it's slower than shit. almost unusable. Showing 2228 users on line.

The new webserver seems like it just doesn't have the speed or the bandwidth to handle it.

Slower than dial-up here.

Just dropped in to see if anybody else was having problems.

I'll send this in about ten minutes, when the "Submit" button appears.

By physically moving all their hardware the network addressing and routing will have changed. Give it a few more hours.

Ditto. Seems sporadic. Sometimes it comes up fast and immediate, other ties I time out (mobile)

FWIW - I was on around 3:30 am after the site came back up.  No problems posting or surfing at that time, I did report a small issue in one of the store forum threads (T-Shirt thread was missing the T-Shirt sample graphics in the 2nd post).   However, the other threads I visited didn't seem to be missing anything.

I just got back on and am having the same reported lag issues (and even a couple of failures to load the entire page).   It has taken the better part of four minutes just to reach this forum to post, and the lag seems even worse trying to enter a reply.  To eliminate any possibility it was my DSL Connection, I went out to DSL reports and ran a speed test - it's not the fastest connection in the world, but it shouldn't be the source of lag that is being reported.

Speed Test Results:

It is moving faster but it is still not loading all of the elements of the pages.

We had some work to finish up, but wanted the site up while we napped.

The slowdown was due to a failure in the load balancing which kept pushing everyone to a single web server. We're back to using the farm, so everything should be on the up and up and will continue to improve as the day goes on and things are balanced out.
