I like the logos/phrases...but at the end of the day it sort of screams "look at me"...

Long sleeve casual button downs 87% of the time Columbia PFG terminal tackle the other times |

Dog park or something silly, sure. Any real adult setting where I want to look like a real person. No not at all.

Enjoy those t-shirts at the gym. I'll have fun everywhere else.

My favourites are corporate-looking polo's with fictional company logos (OCP, Weyland-Yutani, etc.)
|
|
I wore this one my last year or so in college Attached File

I had my company shirts printing with "Ask me about my rock hard slabs" on the front.
Back when the Chive was more popular I had a batch made up that said "Keep calm and trowel on" |

I try not to draw attention myself. View Quote I went grocery shopping yesterday with my work truck, came out of the store and there was a lady standing next to it waiting for me, wants some work done at her house. My grocery run turned into a sales opportunity. |

I wear them. Mostly when I want to make a "Fuck you if you can't take a joke" statement. View Quote |

I've come to the conclusion that I don't like paying to advertise for companies. I still have some Guinness, Marvel, and state college shirts that I wear, but I'm not planning on buying many more. I've been wanting to switch over to polos more when I go out. BUT, I've had an idea that I like, just haven't gotten round to it. I'd like to have some shirts made in various colors with silhouettes of cool stuff like warships, canoes, tanks, etc. I'd still have something printed on the shirt, but it would just be more subtle and not actually be advertising for companies that waste more money on TV ads than I'll ever make in my career.

In my twenties I did, even wore some "Big Dick" shirts in highschool before they got banned.
Now in my thirties.....plain tshirts. The Hanes X-Temp are great if you live someplace warm. |

Most of my shirts are from 1776 united, Marvel, and sports teams. I have polos and button downs if I'm going somewhere nicer than a grocery store or friends house.

I've got a large collection of Trump shirts and I love wearing them whenever I can. Mostly positive reactions with people asking where they can get the shirts, but living in a leftist college town you can sure see the special triggering they give some of the SJW's. My company has a liberal dress code, so I do wear T-shirts 99% of the time, they are mostly Disney, band shirts, car related shirts, etc. But I do dress up for when the situation calls for it(church, going to the golf range, etc).

Arm the Animals... I wear their kitten shirts most days, but they have a lot of good shirts.. |
|
90% of my shirts are from 6dollarshirts.com
I've got a stack of 20 Brooks Brothers dress shirts, but don't need them for work anymore. |
|
Plain black or grey t-shirts.
I used to wear nothing but surf/skate/motorsports shirts and t-shirt hell type stuff but decided I am not being paid to advertise, nor am I paying $30 for a t-shirt. Also once I hit 40 they felt age inappropriate or like I was trying too hard to be cool. |
|
I do, on the weekends. My wife buys me lots of smart ass t shirts.
She even bought my sister a "I pooped today!" t shirt, and my sister had to wear it one full day, on a dare. |
|
You know how damn hard it is to even find a t-shirt without some stupid shit written on it???? Almost as hard as finding a naked ballcap!!!
I wear plain stuff...and no tattoos either. Keeps 'em guessin'. |
|
At home, my favorite:
"It's okay if you disagree with me, I can't force you to be right" |
|
I grew up at the beach and as kids all we ever wore were surf shirts. I'm 47 and still do everyday even though I'm in the desert.

We had to go to one of the large malls here in NOVA a couple weeks go, and I swear by God, I wore an "Aloha Snack Bar" t shirt.

If it's well designed and pithy I'll wear one.
Thinking about picking up a Cricut and making my own at some point. Lots of gaudy shirts I'd never wear but have a good message if designed more tastefully. |

Nothing too flashy for me, but they get the job done.

I don't pay more than $6 for a t-shirt. Most of them are plain.
If someone wants to pay $30 for a t-shirt with "whimsical" sayings, good for them. |
|
I like these.

|
Whatever T-shirts that I like that are on sale... or like $10.
