typical package is 1 lb of bacon.
something like 12-16 slices per package. Go with the 16 slices @ 16 oz per lb So the public school math tells me that its a half ounce for half a slice....... ETA: raw of course. Least that math works for the four packages in my frig. Can't have to much on hand in case of SHTF! |

. BTW, there is about 25 slices in a 16oz pack. Each slice is about 17grams.
