You full length resizing I guess. You need to lightly lube the case sides and inside the neck. Do not get lube on the outside of the neck or shoulder. Now if its a dedicated depriming die then it should not even be touching the case at all, and in that case your just real special. Also make sure your using the right shell holder. Rifle info. We need more information... What caliber... What type of case... What brand of case holder(s)... What variety of press... etc. BTW you will get more mileage out of posting in this forum |

It sounds like you're using steel dies (Rifle ?) without enough lube. Tube (sticky lubes) and the 'rolling on a pad' can be messy and a bit of a PITA. Hornady makes a sry spray lube called 'one shot' that is fast and clean. Just stand your cases upright in a aluminum baking pan, give them a quick spray and you're good to go. If you get cases stuck, about the only thing I've found to work (in a depriming die) is to use a screwdriver or wrench to screw down the depriming pin and push the case out of the bottom of the die. It's a big pain but after doing it a couple of times you'll pretty much never let it happen again. |
