Just picked up the magazine today, and noticed that the flash hider on James Yeager's weapon on the front cover appears to be timed 90* off. Can anyone explain this? If not, is he in a position (as in not in Iraq any longer) that he would be able to answer it if I shot TacticalResponse.com an e-mail about it? Thank you.

It has been suggested by some, that by turning the ports to the right side slightly, a right hand shooting can reduce the distance of muzzle climb. The theory being that when the gun is fired the muzzle will rise, up and to the right (right handed), up and to the left (left handed).

The standard A2 flash suppressor also functions as a very weak break. However, I personally think a good solid stock (like a MagPul) would do better, but what ever works for you, by all means do it. I use a 3 point sling securely fastened.
