How come they make so much of this other shit if everyone wants the same damn thing. ETA: I have that gun in 30-06 in a blind mag. I got it for 400 bucks from walmart with the scope. I put the scope on my Nylon 66, and its serviceable. They put a little piece of electrical tape under the rings to keep it from galling or moving in the rings. The stock sucked, so I tried to stiffen it up with some carbon fiber arrows and epoxy. Ended up having to remove material to keep it from touching the barrel on a rest. As for the gun, it's a Savage. Mine is super accurate. The accu-trigger is great. I ended up glass and pillar bedding mine in a gaudy cherry red boyd's lamanent lightweight gun stock which I then hand rubbed myself to a perfect finish. No more worries with crappy stock. I got the thumbhole unfinished version for the blind mag with the middle feeding magazine. Good guns. Mine is pretty enough to be embarrassing to both fudds and AR guys, but it would probably do well on gunbroker. |
