A well known surgeon in Dallas did my LASIK in OCT of 2003. Everything was great until a few weeks ago. My right eye is somewhat blurry. The left eye is still excellent. Anyone else having problems with LASIK?

Well, I just got home from the Dr. it all boiled down to my eye not creating enough moisture. Good to go and everything is going smooth.

Please IM me which doc? I'm in the DFW area and have been thinking about the procedure.  His name doesn't rhyme with "Tooth" does it?

It really shouldn't have anything to do with the LASIK at nearly 3 years.  At least that's my somewhat informed belief.  Other health problems may be presenting themselves, like diabetes or high blood pressure.

Had mine done Aug '02. Still 20/15 in both eyes.

Go to the best doctor you can find, pay whatever is necessary, and follow all of the post-operative instructions (no eye rubbing, using plenty of eye drops, etc.).  Also, make sure you get all-laser LASIK with Custom View.

I couldn't be happier.

Do it.

+1, +1, +1, +1

Wife did it.  She is also 20/15 in both eyes since 2002.

If you had LASIK in 2003, and are only now having a problem,
odds are it isn't due to the LASIK.

Blurry eyes?  Stop masturbating so much.

I had mine done by Baptist Eye Center in Knoxville TN. They are eye specialists.
Ask for references and call them. The doc that did mine gave me a whole slew of references. I called a bunch of them and went ahead and did it. Couldn't be happier.

He gave me a bunch of small bottles of steriod eye drops for when my eyes felt a bit dry. He said to flood them with the drops if I felt like they were just a little dry.

Keeping the eyes wet and you'll be just fine. Whateveer you do, don't scratch at them.
