i turn a ripe old 41 next week and just this weekend fired my first mg. it was a cheap cobray m-11 , but it fit the bill for me. a good friend took the plunge but didn't have the coin to step up all the way to high powered. it ran great for a thousand or so rounds and then broke like too many of them do, it was a snapped selector switch. bitch. i live in N.H.and get invited over to VT. a couple of times a year.125 acres of private property, plenty of fire power, and lots of drinking/grilling/ and bon firing every night after the shooting. it was cloudy but the rain was only intermittent. we had a huge ass tarp to keep us dry. not a huge display, but we ended up ok, about 75 long guns and 12 or so pistolas.brass was spilt by all. and what event isn't made even better with this stuff? this was a great 3 days. it was also a going away party. the owners' son is heading out for 5 months training as a border patrol agent and then he heads into the thick of it down in arizona. better pics from the labor day shoot,i hope.
