Going to a friend's to replace her flapper valve. Diagnosed it over the phone. Constantly refilling toilet. I asked her to describe the flapper to me, and she said it's a pedestal with a metal bar connecting to the flush handle. No chain.
I'll admit, I haven't seen one of these. All the ones in my house are the chain type. Google at home Depot only showed chain types. Is there a different type or is she describing it wrong? If she's describing it right, are they standard sizing or something different? |
