I've read about it in Tom Clancy books, I've seen Absolut Peppar on the shelves. Anyone ever try it? Is it worth it? Is it for shots or mixers or what? Info Please |

I've chugged a large glass of vodka with about three-four tablespoons of freshly ground black pepper before. It's supposed to be an old russian sinus infection remedy according to my russian friend. Then again, vodka is their remedy for everything... I'm not sure if that's even close to what you're talking about but damn: that was gross! (and I love vodka normally)

Dear God!! Jesus must have come again and I missed it!! PM passed up a free martini! |
He came alright...and he brought a caramel apple 'tini with him...He told me that the pepper vodka was for the bad boys...named YOU in particular! [/hijack] I think (from my <<cough>> limited experience, the pepper vodka IS reserved for the bloody mary drinkers. I never cared for tomato juice, myself. |

Pepper Vodka? Good stuff!! Spicy and a little rough. It'll put hair on your chest if you're a man, and hair somewhere else if you're a woman. I don't mean rough as in "Jeeze, George, this just came out of the radiator!", but a kind of spicy, peppery sort of thing that clears the sinuses a bit and puts a little focus into things for a bit. I can't speak to Absolut, but I CAN speak to Stoli...stick with the Stoli, and you can't go wrong. |
Absolut Peppar makes KILLER Bloody Marys, don't let anyone tell you any different! I'll throw down my Bloody Mary recipe against anyone here. Mine are a shade on the spicy side but I've found them to be quite popular at parties. Who the hell came up with Peppar = Cinnamon? Did I read that wrong? Fearless |
