Let's say, hypothetically, you're fresh out of a top-notch business management school and are sought out by the corporate offices of GM/Ford/Chrysler to do, say, HR or something at a very generous starting salary.
Given the current situation in Detroit and nationally, do you accept? |

Unless I was hypothetically non white and non male, sure why not. In the real world however, I was told they were not hiring white males period. This is after I got out of the Marine Corps and had been powerline on KC-130's. I also had references from long time GM employees.
Im still a little bitter over it, but Im glad I didnt get hired on then, only to face the current outlook on thier business. |
