I am now in the market for new ohm reader, any suggestions?
The eleaf one has always given me funny readings. Today was the last straw...i put new coils in my derringer and it wouldn't read, so i checked for shorts...all good...i adjusted the 510 center pin it read 0.90 ohms, i know it was way high for that build........i put it on my sigelei and it read 0.4ohms...i vaped on it and it hit like a train (adjusted to give it 4.1v)

I dont remember who made it but I got a rechargeable one from a local shop and it's been better then the standard type ones I've had previous.
Edit: this is it |

I picked up this inexpensive one ($15) so I don't need to pull out the multimeter all the time and try to use the probes.
http://www.discountvapers.com/round-ohm-battery-meter-red/ Comes in black, too. Based on the readings it's matching my midrange Mastech meter. I keep a 510 to eGo adapter on the Ohm side so I can check out the coils I build for our Vivi Novas and Protank IIs. |

(sig150 said .3 ohms the new ohm reader said .37ohms i also tested a ni200 build (my old ohm reader said 0.35ohms , my vapor shark before i sent it back said it was 0.20-0.24 , and the new ohm reader was 0.15ohms..............now with that being said, i duplicated a RIP trippers build, and he said his clock in at 0.14-0.15ohms.....so i am inclined to believe the now ohm reader

Thanks for the suggestion, I ended up ordering one of these and rather like it. |

Anything under 5 ohms, I use a Fluke 8842a with the 4 wire, but then I am an electronics tech that does component level repair on the side, that that is among many pieces of test equipment that I have.
Besides that, there's no way I'd trust those "ohm readers" considering the risk of thermal runaway with a device like these e-cigs. |
, my vapor shark before i sent it back said it was 0.20-0.24
