considering a new Vaquero, which would you recommend, .357 magnum or Colt 45?

I would go with the .357 also.

Much more variety of factory ammo to play with.

I am a .357 whore though.

357 would be the better choice of the two for reasons mentioned, but all my "Old West" style guns are in the caliber of the originals. For me it would be 45 Colt. I like it to be original as possible, and not to mention mine is for play, so I don't really need the flexibility with Ammo.
