So my screen went black.  I  got it to come back on briefly twice by closing and then opening and pressing power.

I'm getting it to work better without it plugged in, but it is still switching off occasionally.

Anyone have similar problems?  It only about6-7 months old, so it is still under warranty and i will definitely call Apple.

Before going to an
Apple store or sending I'd in, I'd try the Apple support forums, free and helpful.

Your LCD backlight inverter is taking a shit.  Send it in for your overpriced warranty to take care of it.

Unpossible, Macs don't break or fuck up.

It's under warranty, tote it to the nearest Apple Store and let them worry about it.
