PC has 4GB but I do not have a meter that shows how full it is.

Somehow, some way, this will become a Mac bashing thread.

Corruption.  Time to rebuild.  I am there too, already have stuff backed up.

Any other symptoms?  Error messages?  Blue screen?  Any features of programs not running correctly?

Give combofix a shot, you can get it here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/combofix

I fixed the nastiest of nasties with this paired up with all the ones you mentioned before. Download to a flash drive on another machine (if that's an option). Boot up in safe mode (w/ networking) and run it from the flash drive. It won't take very long, 10 minutes max. Then I would re-run your malware and spyware cleaners followed by another full MSE scan. If that doesn't do it than formatting is your only option. I've cleaned up near a hundred computers this way and been 100% successful.

If you end up formatting and it is still slow as balls than you probably have a bad hard drive.
