| Going to the funshow this weekend, and I want to add a small keychain light to my EDC stuff. I'm thinking Fenix EO1, after a bar buddy had one, and I looked it over. Anyway, the wife saw it too, and wants a pink light. The EO1 comes in pink. However, I was browsing online, and the wife saw the Streamlight Nanolight, in pink of course, and asked me about it. It's about half the size of the EO1. I don't really care too much about battery type. Are the Nanolights any good? I'm not looking to spend a lot on these things. Less than $20 each, or thereabouts, but I want to stay away from the little photon type squeeze lights, unless there's a really good one out there. I don't need alot of burn time, throw, or any of that. Most likely uses will be finding an earring (hers), or flipping a breaker after a power failure, no zombie hordes, or anything like that. Thanks. |

I have 6 or so of the Inova key chain lights. I keep them on key rings, packs, hunting jacket, etc. Hi/low/strobe. Not powerful, but sufficient for getting around in the dark. $5.00 http://www.accutek-systems.com/images/led1big.jpg I have one similar to this, but it is a Photon. LED, very bright, hasn't needed new batters in the 5 years since I bought it, and it has a momentary and hold ON feature. |

I have the Streamlight Nano and can not imagine not having it. It goes with me everywhere
my keys go. I never notice its there until I need it. For a micro flashlight it is effective. Get caught somewhere in the dark and you will know. Finding something on the floor of the car at night, a little light in a dark or dim area perfect. I have trusted my life with Streamlight in the fire service. I will always have one of these. ETA Gave the spousal unit a Pink One. Her answer why is everything you buy me pink (Light & Stun Gun) |

FWIW, the Photon-X is the best of the little keychain lights Photon-X I just picked up a Lumapower IncenDio V3 for EDC from Battery Junction. It's a single 123 light with 350 emitter lumens, the size of a roll of Lifesavers. Makes my Surefire Z2 look weak. ![]() |

Had a fenix E01, gave it away to my sister when she admired it.
Replaced it with an ITP EOS, which I like better. I got a Nano in december, I've been carrying that ever since. It's bright enough for everything I've used it for and I haven't replaced batteries yet. By the way, the light and batteries are dirt cheap on Amazon. |

Otherwise I loved it. Gonna send it back as fortunately it is covered by warranty.
