OK,
Can't open a youtube video (but everything else opens) Hotmail page doesn't open at all (just blank) can't log on ARFCOM. Went to Java website for downloads, but the page is all blank like hotmail (irony there) I have been gone for the past year and I don't know what my kids did to the thing. Advice? Thanks Slyvan |

Thanks Slyvan This doesn't sound like a Java problem. Youtube not working could be a problem with flash, but web pages coming up blank indicates a deeper problem - either networking on your box isn't working or IE is seriously hosed. Try installing FireFox and see if you can get to any web page. BTW, IE8 is a security sieve - you probably don't want to use it at all –– for ANY web site. |

then reinstall flash. if that does work. uninstall ie 8 then reinstall |
| Glad to see you got the problem fixed. However, if you've been away from the computer that long and people have been downloading things they shouldn't, it might be a good idea to reload the OS just in case, as there's a good chance there are some things on there you don't want running. |
