I think a better gun would be a a belt-fed hand-cranked gatling.

Are hand operated gatlings considered class 3?

Hm...a hand crank, .22lr gatling type gun would kick ass.  Feeding ammo to it 10 rds. at a time might suck though, unless you could adapt some 10/22 magazines or something.  

On the other hand, imagine going as Mac from Predator for Halloween, with a XM134 clone draped on you....scaring high school kids all night long [:D]

This page [url]http://www.gatlinggun.net/[/url] says that only certain models of gatling type gun are legel (1862 version). Drat.  Can someone find out for sure what the status of a hand cranked gat would be?
