I beleive the data limit for the "unlimited " plan is 5gb. My phones usage indicator says I've received 7.5 gb. Is that for this month or over the lifetime of the phone?

There is no data limit specified in the "Unlimited" data plan for an iPhone on AT&T. What frequently gets confused it that there is a 5 Gb limit in some of the other data services that AT&T offers. They have one called "Data Connect 5 Gb" for $60 a month for the Aircard, designed for a laptop on 3G and Edge data services. Howard forums is a pretty popular Web Forum that seems to have a lot of users who have been around the block a few times. I've been a member there for several years, and there is not too much BS regarding the data use on the iPhone. |
